Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the rose 1.29% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the were Girisim Elektrik Taahhut Ticaret & Sanayi AS (IS:), which rose 7.95% or 3.60 points to trade at 48.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Fenerbahce Futbol AS (IS:) added 6.01% or 5.95 points to end at 104.90 and Goltas Goller Bolgesi Cimento Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:) was up 5.53% or 22.50 points to 429.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Reeder Teknoloji Sanayi Ve Ticaret AS (IS:), which fell 3.14% or 0.47 points to trade at 14.52 at the close. Altinay Savunma Teknolojileri AS (IS:) declined 2.60% or 2.40 points to end at 90.00 and Turkiye Sinai Kalkinma Bankasi AS (IS:) was down 2.49% or 0.31 points to 12.16.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 438 to 129 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Reeder Teknoloji Sanayi Ve Ticaret AS (IS:) fell to 52-week lows; losing 3.14% or 0.47 to 14.52.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.42% or 10.85 to $2,575.65 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 0.92% or 0.63 to hit $69.06 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract rose 0.84% or 0.61 to trade at $72.89 a barrel.
USD/TRY was unchanged 0.01% to 34.35, while EUR/TRY rose 0.24% to 36.41.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 106.43.
