Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 1.54%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Insurance and Building & Construction sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 1.54%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Miahona Holding SCJSC (TADAWUL:2084), which rose 9.86% or 2.55 points to trade at 28.40 at the close. Meanwhile, CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8240) added 7.83% or 3.55 points to end at 48.90 and Saudi Manpower Solutions Co (TADAWUL:1834) was up 7.26% or 0.58 points to 8.57 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130), which fell 7.14% or 0.02 points to trade at 0.26 at the close. Emaar The Economic City (TADAWUL:4220) declined 1.85% or 0.16 points to end at 8.51 and City Cement Co (TADAWUL:3003) was down 1.66% or 0.30 points to 17.74.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 246 to 58 and 13 ended unchanged.

Shares in CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8240) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 7.83% or 3.55 to 48.90.

Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.16% or 1.51 to $71.35 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 2.25% or 1.67 to hit $76.05 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.21% or 5.70 to trade at $2,754.60 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.25% to 4.05, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.76.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 104.13.
