Indonesia stocks higher at close of trade; IDX Composite Index up 0.14%

Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Financials, Agriculture and Basic Industry sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index rose 0.14%.

The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Bumi Teknokultura Unggul Tbk (JK:BTEK), which rose 33.33% or 1.00 points to trade at 4.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Bank Artha Graha Internasional (JK:INPC) added 31.94% or 23.00 points to end at 95.00 and Perdana Karya Perkasa Tbk (JK:PKPK) was up 25.00% or 195.00 points to 975.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Berkah Beton Sadaya Tbk PT (JK:BEBS), which fell 16.67% or 1.00 points to trade at 5.00 at the close. Capitalinc Investment Tbk (JK:MTFN) declined 16.67% or 1.00 points to end at 5.00 and Diamond Citra Propertindo PT (JK:DADA) was down 12.50% or 1.00 points to 7.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 307 to 292 and 242 ended unchanged.

Shares in Bank Artha Graha Internasional (JK:INPC) rose to 52-week highs; rising 31.94% or 23.00 to 95.00. Shares in Capitalinc Investment Tbk (JK:MTFN) fell to all time lows; down 16.67% or 1.00 to 5.00. Shares in Perdana Karya Perkasa Tbk (JK:PKPK) rose to all time highs; gaining 25.00% or 195.00 to 975.00.

Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.25% or 0.86 to $69.55 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.03% or 0.75 to hit $73.81 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.61% or 16.55 to trade at $2,746.55 a troy ounce.

USD/IDR was up 0.23% to 15,509.80, while AUD/IDR fell 0.04% to 10,375.56.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 103.48.
