Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the were Crete Plastics SA (AT:), which rose 5.84% or 0.80 points to trade at 14.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Alumil (AT:) added 2.72% or 0.11 points to end at 3.96 and Biokarpet Industrial and Commercial Enterprises SA (AT:) was up 2.25% or 0.04 points to 1.82 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Interlife General Insurance Company SA (AT:), which fell 2.76% or 0.12 points to trade at 4.23 at the close. Ellaktor SA (AT:) declined 2.14% or 0.04 points to end at 1.74 and National Bank of Greece SA (AT:) was down 2.11% or 0.14 points to 6.67.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 66 to 52 and 23 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for February delivery was up 0.50% or 13.21 to $2,678.01 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in January rose 1.08% or 0.74 to hit $69.46 a barrel, while the February Brent oil contract rose 0.41% or 0.30 to trade at $73.08 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.07% to 1.06, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.06% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 105.96.
