Colombia stocks higher at close of trade; COLCAP up 0.33%

Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.33%.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Mineros SA (BVC:MAS), which rose 4.28% or 175.00 points to trade at 4,260.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Ecopetrol SA (BVC:ECO) added 3.47% or 60.00 points to end at 1,790.00 and Cementos Argos SA (BVC:CCB) was up 2.28% or 220.00 points to 9,870.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Grupo Bolivar SA (BVC:SCA), which fell 1.71% or 1,000.00 points to trade at 57,600.00 at the close. Organizacion Terpel SA (BVC:TPL) declined 1.45% or 160.00 points to end at 10,880.00 and Banco Davivienda Pf (BVC:DVI_p) was down 1.33% or 240.00 points to 17,740.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

Shares in Cementos Argos SA (BVC:CCB) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 2.28% or 220.00 to 9,870.00.

US coffee C for March delivery was up 1.19% or 3.93 to $334.03 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 5.99% or 604.00 to hit $10,685.00 , while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.27% or 34.00 to trade at $2,719.80 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was down 0.12% to 4,368.50, while BRL/COP rose 0.43% to 722.60.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 106.07.
